The quick and easy solution is to use one of the retrofit converter downlights.
This conversion kit contains a recessed downlight with an oversize bezel (140mm)
suitable for easy covering a 120mm diameter hole.
Converts traditional mains
R50, R64, R80 Downlights
& R50, R64 Eyeballs
to modern Mains GU10 or LV lighting - GU10 & LV lampholders supplied
- Pack contents:
- 1 x Downlight fitting
- 1 x Converter plate
- 1 x Low Voltage lampholder
Transformer not included - 1 x GU10 Mains Voltage lampholder
- Covers any hole from 48mm - 120mm
- Supplied Less Lamp:
- Low Voltage: 12 V 50watt MR16
- Mains 240v: GU10 50watt
Note: Do not use GZ10 Lamps with this fitting
