Site Guide Domestic Installer 17th Edition 3rd Amendment
NICEIC and ELECSA have produced their most comprehensive on-site guide covering electrical installation work for use on electrical installations up to 100 A, including solar photovoltaic micro-generation.
The new book, which extends to over 300 pages, features the most up-to-date and relevant information for contractors undertaking electrical installation work on small electrical installations, including those in domestic premises. It provides guidance for carrying out the design, construction, inspection and testing of electrical installation work and is intended to promote good practice across the industry.
The information in the guide is based on the latest requirements of the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations, this being Amendment 3 to BS 7671:2008 - the national standard in the United Kingdom for low voltage electrical installations.
With chapters on RCDs, consumer units, remote isolation, labelling and works in special locations, the guide brings together the latest text on regulations that every electrician will need to know, alongside clear and useful diagrams.
