which is currently the highest resolution available for use with Analogue CCD CCTV cameras.
This new extended range now consists of 4, 8 and 16 channel DVRs with either a USB only or a DVD+USB back up facility.
The USB only DVRs are housed in a smaller compact casing and record in 960H resolution at 12.5FPS (Half Real Time).
Whilst the DVD+USB DVRs are housed in a larger casing and record in 960H resolution at 25FPS (Real Time).
All of these versions use the same menu, software, mobile phone apps (for viewing via your smart phone*)
and CMS (central management software) which allows you to connect and view up to 16 DVRs* at the same time over the internet.
They all have HDMI, VGA and BNC video outputs and are supplied with a free of charge mouse controller.
However, the main selling point to this new range is the facility to record in the high definition 960H resolution.
At present most high resolution analogue CCTV cameras (CCD 700TVL+) use 960H technology.
However to get the true benefit of 960H cameras, you should use them with 960H recorders.
Many of the analogue recorders currently being sold only use D1 resolution
which is approximately 30% smaller than 960H, which means you lose 30% of your image on playback.
