INTEGRAL LOCKING FACILITY
To prevent unauthorised removal of the sensor from its
base, the sensor may be locked to a 2000series base with
automatic locking. This is field selectable by means of a
plastic breakout.

WIRING
The bases contain robust terminals with captive clamp-ing
washers to provide secure wiring connections
without lugs. Terminals are provided for a remote LED
should this function be required.
The wiring from the conduit box feeds through a hole in
the centre of the base and is connected to terminals
within the base. It is important to ensure that the Photain
Line screen is continuous to the next sensor in line.

FIXING DETAILS
The recessed Base has a body diameter of 117mm and is
suitable for mounting in a ceiling cutout of 120mm
diameter. The base is attached to the dropped ceiling
panel from behind by means of a screw nut section, which
allows ceiling thickness up to 25mm. A conduit box with
mounting screw pitch from 50mm to 90mm can be
attached to the rear of the recessed base. It is recom-mended
that the conduit box attached to the recessed base
on the dropped ceiling, be connected to the main conduit
wiring by means of a flexible conduit to enable subse-quent
removal of dropped ceiling panels.
