The ISD ionisation type smoke detector is capable of
detecting products of combustion even before the presence
of visible smoke.
This detector is the result of extensive development
and work, with stability and reliability as the primary
objective, while at the same time maintaining the sensitivity
requirements of the major approving authorities.
The chamber automatically compensates for changes in
humidity, temperature and pressure.
The objective was achieved having a fully encased solid-state
printed circuit incorporating a high level of protection
against electrical interference and line transients.
A high level of immunity to air draughts has also been
built in to this detector.
